Two Symbols in One discussed the method of "fused metaphor" that combines symbols to create new meaning. Considering the current stage in our project, this relates on a more conceptual level. The combination or arrangement of different icons within each pattern will affect how the viewer perceives the story. For example, a hairbrush and pillow do not work on as strong of a conceptual level as an alarm clock and pillow would (according to my story).
