Delineation and Letterforms | Orthographic Sketch | Found Color

To become more familiar with Illustrator, the class was instructed to explore the pen tool, vector drawing, letterform, dimensions and layers by drawing our initials from a given alphabet digitally and to a specific scale. In class, we worked on understanding Orthographic drawings by doing 5 or 6 sketches of objects to help prepare us for the coming digital assignment that expands on digital Orthographic, Elevation Oblique and Plan Oblique drawings of our initials (Image 3).

I had a lot of fun collecting color swatches at Lowes but I felt bad for taking so much paper!
